ANALYSIS OF THE EXPERIENCE OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITY WITH SELECTED ASPECTS RELATED TO MONO-SKIING

Physical activities for individuals with disability contribute to improving motor skills and positively affect psychosocial areas of life. The mono-ski winter activity is currently experiencing a great development in our country. aim the study was analyze experiences selected aspects related mono-skiing through processing quantitative data obtained via questionnaire survey. research sample consisted 60 persons - participants courses at Centre Disabled Skiers Janské Lázně. results survey show that 76.6% respondents consider be an important part their lives. three key benefits cited by were 1) increased joy life opportunity have fun, 2) diversified feeling excitement, 3) establishing warm relationships others. In addition above values, main reasons leading included enhancing psychological stability as means mental health. also target group post-injury (21 individuals), 81% returned skiing thanks helped maintain level previous suggest contributes not only possibility carrying out one's own physical activity, but health, contact others, dedication even state.
